Not friends or family
If ya'll boss not a referee on your CV for a job yall'm worked then it's a bad sign, don't put a job on without a relevant referee.
Teachas and tutas
Referees should be contactable and you should ask their permission (have them be aware of the job you applied for).
Community work
Social things (some things like playing a sport or being part of the club could be attractive traits to some employers)
Employment History
Don't show your face on our CV or cover letter, or your age
Put your LinkedIn profile
Careful about sharing your opinion on social media
Important things on your CV should be in the top third
Education at top, followed by employment details, also contact deets in top third.
Referees always at the end
Aspirations if not cover letter 1 sentence in top third!
Community work in employment history (even if it wasn't paid)
Breakdown of relevant skills before referees - Relevant! Check what they're looking for
If you finish first year you have a level 5 diploma - NZ Diploma in Digital Media and Design (Film)
Put it in a sentence
Make it look nice, just design - Don't make a goofy CV, no colour
Don't fold it up, put in A4 envelope
Good computer skills - put in software packages you have knowledge in (Adobe, Excel, Pro Tools, Maya)
