- Published on a media platform
- Reach target audience through media
- Make sure is easy for media to digest and release
- Promote your event
- Who, what, where, why?
- Cost and why target audience should attend
- Sell the event
- Contact info e.g. bookings, sales, queries

2)

- Overview of event and first thing media audience will see

- Point of Difference : Student Run Event. Re-brand. Something Fresh and New.
- More Community based project e.g. multiple supporters

- Overview of Event
- Credibility, opportunity to sell event. Journalists can't change
- Personal Connection
- Chairman? Students
- Past judge, speaker, winners

5)

- Third person : unbiased, no editing, professional

6)

- Has to be dated in case any changes happen

We then did an activity in class where we had to set up our own media releases for this event, it was a very unproductive meme.
